It’s finally done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a long, slow, complicated, frustrating, but overall rewarding experience. Until next time…

Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of web development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page.
Because I’m using a geometric type style for my site- I thought it would be a good idea to base it on some kind of grid. I found this
I has a whole range of different grids- check it out.
For those that have only just begun to come out from under a rock in Web Design world, like me, this program, coda, is really helpful. Plus you can trial it for free! and it’s fully timed, so it only counts down when you’re actually using it. I especially like the music in this clip- gives the impression that coding is an action-packed process…I’m not yet convinced…
This is a bit of the photoshop mockup for my Website. I found the awesome typeface, called Videostar, and it gave me a lot of inspiration for the rest of my site. I think I’m going to go with a geometric theme. I think it suits the 80s style that is popular with young folk today, plus, it being my first EVER creative web related activity, I thought it best to stick to simple shapes. (I also hear that rounded rectangles can be somewhat of an issue with older browsers.)
I was just looking at my design reference assignment, and decided that I am very happy about my choices. A lot of my past design has tended to be a bit girly, so I’m going to try and do something else for my Stonefest website. So if I think if I draw references I picked I’ll be able to achieve this- here’s hoping anyway.
I had some trouble getting Tumblr and my Design Reference assignment to co-operate (see previous comment about my on-going relationship with technology), so I ended up posting it on Wordpress instead.

Here’s the link incase you feel like taking a look. Some of the sites are really cool. I can’t even begin to conceptualise how one would go about creating anything to resemble them- but they’re something to aim for, even if I don’t pull it off with my first website.
So this is the whole blogging thing?- doesn’t seem so hard…
I’ve out done myself (if you knew how bad i was with technology you’d understand)- and so it is time to return to the world of the physical.
Peace.
